Borja Blanco Cochon, is a young spanish artist but he is currently living and working in Tuscany. He chooses materials local to his environment, like chestnut and linden wood and then carves them with only a chainsaw. He favors horses admiring their physical strength and elegance, and capturing these subtleties in these sculptures. 

Cochon has also experimented with human forms. His process is almost a meditative one, he uses the time it takes to create the physical form to contemplate some of the intangible aspects such as social dynamics, behavior, and emotions.
